ProcurePulse

AI Assistant

An autonomous AI agent with 50+ procurement tools. Queries live data, respects your permission model, generates charts and reports, and takes action — with human oversight where it matters. Powered by Dify's open-source agentic framework.

Not a Chatbot. An Agentic System.

Most "AI assistants" are chatbots that guess. ProcurePulse AI is an agentic system — it decides which tools to call, queries live data, and builds answers from real procurement records.

Typical AI Chatbot
Trained on general knowledge — guesses procurement answers
No access to your live data
Same response regardless of who asks
No audit trail of AI decisions
Black box — cannot inspect reasoning
Text-only responses
ProcurePulse AI Agent
50+ tool endpoints for live procurement data queries
Calls your database through secure, audited tool callbacks
Permission-scoped — each user sees only their authorized data
Every tool call logged with user, arguments, timestamp, IP
Open workflow — inspect every reasoning step in Dify
Tables, charts, forms, downloadable reports inline

What You Can Ask

Natural language queries backed by real-time data. Every answer comes from your actual procurement records — never hallucinated.

"Show overdue POs for IT department"
po_status Procurement
"Which vendors have the worst delivery scores?"
vendor_performance Vendors
"What's my budget utilization this quarter?"
budget_vs_actuals Finance
"List assets due for maintenance next month"
maintenance_schedule Assets
"Compare RFQ responses for laptop procurement"
rfq_comparison Procurement
"Show depreciation schedule for Building A"
depreciation_schedule Assets
"Which contracts expire in the next 90 days?"

"Generate spend analysis chart for FY26"
spend_analytics + chart Reports
"Export vendor compliance report as CSV"
export_report Reports

Role-Based AI Access

The AI doesn't have god-mode access. Permission Sets define exactly which modules, data, and actions each user's AI agent can access. A department head sees department data — not company-wide financials.

Permission Set Scoping
Admin defines which modules have AI access per permission set. Only those modules are sent to the AI as allowed data areas.
User Context Injection
Every query is prefixed with the user's identity, role, department, location, and allowed modules — automatically, transparently.
Tool-Level Enforcement
Each tool endpoint validates that the requesting user has permission to access the data being queried. Double verification.
Customer Portal Isolation
Vendor portal AI is completely separate — different API key, different tools, strict email-based identity. Cannot access internal data.
CFO All modules
"Show company-wide spend by category with YoY trend"
Procurement Manager Procurement, Vendors, Contracts
"Which vendors missed SLA targets this quarter?"
Asset Manager Assets, Maintenance, Depreciation
"List fully depreciated assets still in use"
Department Head Own department data only
"What's my department's budget utilization?"

Rich, Actionable Responses

Not just text. The AI returns structured data tables, interactive charts, downloadable exports, and inline forms — all within the chat interface.

Inline Charts
ECharts bar, line, pie, and trend visualizations generated from your live data — rendered directly in the chat.
Markdown Tables
Structured data returned as formatted tables with columns, sorting, and clear headers — not walls of text.
Downloadable Exports
Generate CSV and PDF reports with secure, time-limited download links — directly from a chat query.
Interactive Forms
When the AI needs structured input (date ranges, selections, amounts), it renders form widgets — not text prompts.
Streaming Responses
Server-Sent Events for real-time response display. See the AI think, select tools, and build its answer live.
Multi-Turn Conversations
Context carries forward. "Show overdue POs" → "Now filter by IT department" → "Escalate the top 3 to vendor managers".

Enterprise Safety

Hallucination Guards
AI forced to use tools for data queries. Responses without tool usage on data questions are intercepted.
Audit Trail
Every tool call logged — tool name, user ID, arguments, IP address. SOX and compliance ready.
Response Sanitization
Raw SQL, internal reasoning blocks, and technical artifacts stripped before user sees the response.
Bearer Token Auth
Tool callbacks authenticated with shared secret. Only your Dify instance can call your tool endpoints.
